Canucks Return to Rogers Arena Looking to Regain Series Lead

Canucks Fall Short After Late Push

The Vancouver Canucks returned to Rogers Arena on Wednesday night looking to regain the lead in their first-round playoff series against the St. Louis Blues.

After dropping the first two games of the series in St. Louis, the Canucks won Game 3 on Monday night to cut the Blues' lead to 2-1.

The Canucks came out strong in Game 4, taking an early lead on a goal by Elias Pettersson. However, the Blues responded with two goals of their own to take a 2-1 lead into the second period.

The Canucks tied the game in the second period on a goal by Brock Boeser, but the Blues regained the lead late in the period on a goal by Vladimir Tarasenko.

The Canucks pushed hard in the third period, but they were unable to find the equalizer. The Blues held on for a 3-2 win, taking a 3-1 lead in the series.

The Canucks will now have to win Game 5 in St. Louis on Friday night to force a Game 6 back in Vancouver.

Conclusion

The Canucks' loss in Game 4 was a disappointing setback, but they still have a chance to win the series. They will need to play their best game of the series in Game 5, and they will need to find a way to slow down the Blues' top line.
